If the Quarterdeck approves, we will take a trip of discovery to the Great Falls of the Potomac in Maryland and Virginia. This is one of the least known scenic wonders in the mid-Atlantic region. We will view the falls, hike the Billy Goat Trail along the river, and visit historic sites including locks of the C&O Canal. We may possibly camp at the Marsden Tract group campground along the canal.
