We will have our sailboat inspected by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. We will learn how to perform an inspection and the safety devices required on our boat. In doing so, you will complete safety Apprentice requirement 5e. This is one of the last requirements needed by many of you to earn the rank of Apprentice this year.

Then we will have a work session that will count towards Ship Service hours, important for rank advancement. We will clean out the boat's cuddy and inventory all of the gear within. Some gear may need cleaning. After returning items to the cuddy, we will then cover the boat for winter storage.

Meet at the Ridley Township Municipal Marina where our boat is now kept. It's only a mile from Christ Church.
